Middle Earth: Shadow of War (2017)

I worked with the team at Monolith for about a year during pre-production up to their big E3 announcement.

Injustice 2: Every Battle Defines You (2017)

I worked with the cinematic team at NetherRealm to add a real-time touch to their rendered cinematics.

State of Decay: Year-One Survival Edition (2015)

I worked with the team at Undead Labs to bring the VFX up to a new level of polish when they put their award-winning survival game on the Xbox One.

Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor (2014)

I worked with the team at Monolith on gameplay systems, environment effects, and in-game cinematics for the first installment of the franchise.

Hex: Shards of Fate

Gas Powered Games tag-teamed with Cryptozoic bringing their trading card game to life. I worked in Unity on the demo project pre-Kickstarter.

Age of Empires Online

At Gas Powered Games, I worked in a proprietary software on gameplay systems and environment VFX in this MMO/RTS.

Super Hero Squad Online

My first shipped title was with The Amazing Society, under Gazillion entertainment. Super Hero Squad Online was a browser-based children’s MMO in the early Unity days.

Tools

VFX artists use a variety of tools to create assets for in-game use, but most of the work is done using a particle generation tool inside the engine of choice. Some standards that I’ve worked with are Unreal 4, Unity, CryEngine, but I’ve also worked with Proprietary tools developed by Monolith, Gas Powered Games, and Robot Entertainment.
