Tools

VFX artists use a variety of tools to create assets for in-game use, but most of the work is done using a particle generation tool inside the engine of choice. Some standards that I’ve worked with are Unreal 4, Unity, CryEngine, but I’ve also worked with Proprietary tools developed by Monolith, Insomniac, Gas Powered Games, and Robot Entertainment.
